weight-liftingStrength & conditioning is for anyone who wants to improve their strength and performance. Whether you’re an elite level athlete wanting an edge over your competition, or a weekend warrior in their first race – the details count.

Our strength and conditioning coach provides specialised, tailored programs to achieve your specific training goals. Your custom built program will have peaks and tapers to make sure you hit competition day as fit, fast and strong as you can be.

Being an Accredited Exercise Physiologist as well as a strength and conditioning coach means that we can identify and address any pre-existing injury or issue that could stop you performing at your best. We live on the cutting edge of sports science research, using the latest tools and techniques to maximise your performance – not playing with flashy toys or getting you to do circus tricks.

Maximise your performance

Our strength and conditioning coaches are experienced, working with individuals and teams from grass roots to elite international level athletes.

We have taken athletes to personal best performances at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games – including Gold Medal performances at the London Paralympic Games.

We have particular experience working with swimmers, cyclists and triathletes, and helping field-sport athletes return to peak performance following major injuries.

lunge2What to expect

If you’re not testing you’re guessing! Our strength and conditioning coach will perform a thorough initial assessment to determine your baseline strength and power.  Testing will be done to determine if there are any existing imbalances that will limit your performance or put you at risk of injury. We then design a program tailored to your specific needs and training goals, make sure your technique is spot on and send you away to train, train, train (and train some more…). We can supervise your training program with one-on-one sessions or for more experienced athletes, provide a periodised plan for up to 3 months.
